Large Aluminum Bread Tin

German aluminum bread/sandwich tin. It is in fairly good condition with some light dents and dings. A good bread bag stuffer to keep your sandwich safe. These were an important part of everyday life for Germans, so it is no wonder they found their way to the front lines as well. They were even being produced as early as WWI.They are pictured on the cover of the 1939 Der Sportler catalog.
