Description
Original period manufacture. 1st pattern Ross Rifle bayonet with the little muzzle ring extension on the reverse side of the guard. Ross Rifle Co Quebec Patented 1907 on the pommel obverse and unit markings of 6 CA 114 on the reverse. The blade was finished bright and displays scattered staining and clouding from age and use but retains its proper configuration. Decent wood grips with fair amount of original finish remaining on the guard and pommel. Correct brown leather scabbard with its integral belt loop, showing scattered scuffing to its surfaces.
