US Indian War Era, 1873 45-70 Springfield Bayonet & 1885 Pattern Scabbard

Original period manufacture. Blue steel bayonet with locking ring, most of the original blue finish remains on the blade. Last pattern steel bodied scabbard with the 1885 brass hook to allow the bayonet to be worn on the looped cartridge belt. Original finish to the scabbard body, leather is sound, slips down with a little effort from the throat. A very clean example.
