US Indian War Era, 1873 45-70 Springfield Bayonet, 1874 Pattern Scabbard

Original period manufacture. Very clean, blue finished steel blade and socket, with an operable lock mechanism. Standard 1874 pattern scabbard with a leather collar affixed with a brass US rosette. Surface dryness to the collar as shown, will slide on the scabbard body.
