German WWII S84/98 K98 Rifle Bayonet, ffc 1940, F.Herder

Original period manufacture. Blue satin finish to the blade with no issues, no surface corrosion, with a sharp point. Dark plum bakelite grips in good repair, mix of steel patina and blue to the guard, flash guard and pommel. Lock button works as it should. Blade is marked ffc (herder), 40 on the spine, serial number 8260e. 41 dated blue steel scabbard, fnj code Alexander Coppel, serial number 9671p. The scabbard is clean, throat screw is present, no real dent issues, just a spot of surface corrosion on the reverse just above the tip. Otherwise, lots of blue remaining.
