Northern Ireland Federation of Womens Institutes WI badge

A scarce original circa 1940's 'Northern Ireland W.I. badge', gilded brass example inlaid with blue and white enamel depicting a five bar gate, the reverse impressed with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Ltd Regent St Birmingham'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.Size approx 30 x 18mm.The first WI was established in Garvagh County Londonderry Northern Ireland in 1932.
