You are bidding on a 100% ORIGINAL set of WW2 German Luftwaffe Kennleuchten (Wing Tip Position Lights), Fl. 32558-1, as used on the various fighter and bomber aircraft!This item was located at the tip of the wings of many fighters and bombers throughout WW2. When turned on at night, it allowed for easy identification during night flying. They were also used inside the cockpit of the He177 'Greif', as an Engine Temperature Warning Lamp.Made of aluminum by Siemens, these Tail Light is in EXCELLENT used condition. They come complete as the assembly, but are missing the outer glass and bulb. The Fl. number is clearly legible, indicating Fl. 32558-1. Some marks and scratches but otherwise VERY SOLID! A VERY RARE set, EXCELLENT for any collection, display, or restoration project!
