You are bidding on SUPERB used example of a WW2 German Wehrmacht Bosch Magneto Wiring Junction Block! Though this came to me with some NSU Motorcycle Parts, I am not sure of the exact application.This component functioned as a magneto wiring junction rather than a modern distributor cap. The bakelite block served as an organized termination and distribution point for ignition-related circuits used on WWII German equipment, allowing proper routing and management of ignition wiring within the electrical system.Made of bakelite by BOSCH, this is a SUPERB used example! Some marks, scratches, and wear, due to the age, but nothing that detracts. It retains a clearly molded Bosch emblem, confirming factory manufacture; and two molded terminal markings are present: a stamped'1'and a stamped'4'adjacent to two wire ports. These numbers indicate specific circuit or firing order reference points within the ignition system to ensure correct wire placement during installation or servicing. All attached wire leads are the same diameter and appear to be original period material. No additional markings are present beyond the Bosch emblem and molded terminal numbers.
