Named WWII U. S. Coast Guard Women's Reserve (SPARS) Officer Cap

Th white top of the cap exhibits some typical age toning and soiling, but overall the cap is in excellent condition. The cap interior shows signs of wear and use, with labels indicating that it was manufactured as a U.S. Navy WAVES cap which was used by a woman officer in the Coast Guard Reserves. The cap is tagged as a size 22-1/2.The interior 'WAVES'tag has the handwritten designation of 'SPARS' and it bears the handwritten name and address of the officer who wore the cap. Overall very good condition.
