WW1 Worcestershire National Reserve home front badge

A scarce original First World War period 'National Reserve Worcestershire lapel badge'; Crowned gilt oval with blue enamel title surround, green and black striped shield to voided centre, bearing three pears from the City Coat of Arms; the reverse impressed with maker's details 'J.R. Gaunt London'. Very good condition, complete with original buttonhole lapel fitting, no damage to the enamel, gilt finish remains bright.Height approx 39mm.
