Named WWII U.S. Navy Aviator Visor Cap

The ribbed green wool body of the cap shows a few small holes or fabric pulls. The front of the cap displays a toned Navy officer insignia in gold and silver bullion. The surface of the patent leather visor exhibits age crazing. The interior leather sweatband is present, with a bit of lost stitching in the rear. The interior retains the card of 'Kenneth G. Schlegel'as an Ensign in the U.S. Naval Reserve. The body of the cap is a bit flattened from storage. Overall good condition.
