British War Medal 1914-1918, GVIR 1st type NGS with Palestine 1936-39 Clasp, 1939-45 Star, Atlantic star with France & Germany clasp & 1939-45 War Medal with M.I.D OakleafTo- M.27303.F.L.HAINES.B.ART.RN (BWM)& WT.ENGR.F.L.HAINES.RN (NGS)Frank Leslie Haines was born in 1901 & served with the Royal Navy in WW1 as a boy artificer. The British war medal is his sole medal entitlement for his service in WW1. He served during the Arab revolt in Palestine 1936-39 as a Warrant Engineer & served during WW2 as a commissioned engineer. He was M.I.D in the London gazette 11-6-1942 for services onboard HMS Mallard. He was a resident of Kent & died in Chelmsford in July 1970.GVF or better & swing mounted worn. Complete with a copy image of the recipient in uniform. Along with copy service papers, London gazette details & other basic research details
