U.S. Marine Corps Field Grade Officer's Visor Cap

The white linen cover of the cap is without holes, damage or repairs, while showing typical age toning and surface soiling. Both the gold bullion chin strap and the gold oak leaves embroidery on the visor surface are well toned. The from peak bears a screw back eagle, globe and anchor officer insignia in gold and sterling silver, maker marked by Hilborn Hamburger. The full interior leather sweatband is intact, as is the celluloid sweat shield. Overall the visor cap is in excellent condition.
