Waffen-SS Officer's Visor Cap

This is a fine, mid-war quality gabbardine SS Officer's cap. It is piped in white, lined in cream-colored silk with celluloid sweat shield, leatherette sweatband with maker's mark on side. There are several sets of initials. The cap material is of the fine lindsamt velvet band. It is piped in white. The gabardine top is free of any damage or mothing is also piped in white. The seams and joins are in perfect alignment and as they should look. The lining plessier inside the cap band is folded in the correct direction and tacked all the way around. In the inside front, there is evidence of rebadging, but the insignia are correct and match nicely. Overall, a very nice piece, straight from a quality collection in Europe. COA accompanies.
