Waffen-SS Totenkopf Aufklärungs Wrapper

This is a very sharp example of a 1943/44 SS-Totenkopf Aufklärungs StuG wrapper for the rank of private. The tunic itself is made of later war quality, rough texture wool in field gray, with a dark grey-tan-colored imitation silk lining, numbered in black ink, in the upper left breast. The sleeve Eagle is a factory attached RZM pattern, and has that nice, gentle ivory tone that original insignia gets when on a uniform that long. The jacket itself shows the same yellowish-vory, fabric patina. As well, the matching set of Dachau pattern collar tabs with skull and blank rank tab for private show the same cloth patin. The shoulder boards are classic production and show yellowish gold piping for reconnaissance. Overall, the tunic is in lightly worn condition, showing mostly its age rather than much field use.
