German WWII Three Medal Bar-This is an interesting setup. This is a three medal bar that has a WW1 iron cross 2ndclass that retains the majority of its black finish on its core. The frame has a nice dark tone that complements the black finish. The next medal is a WW2 Iron Cross 2ndclass that is also in very good condition. The finish and frame are very good. The third medal is the cross of honor, or the Hindenburg cross with swords. The interesting thing is that the ribbons for the WW1 Iron cross is correct, as is the cross of honor. But, take a look at theWW2 Iron Cross ribbon, it is incorrect. You can see that it is blue and red, instead of the proper ribbon. The odd thing is that this was made this way, and has always been there. The ribbons are in good shape, they show their age, but look good overall. The backing is red felt, and the long pin functions as intended.This is an interesting medal bar.
