British WW1 Private Purchase Aluminium Water Bottle.

Ok so let me be honest, the title above is an opinion i have only, as i cannot find an example anywhere. It does have a feel of a WW1 period example with black felt body and the leather hanging harness, no stamps etc to be found. As for condition i would say its very good with some minor moth tracking only to the cloth cover , no dents to the body. Leather harness is supple and complete with all four leather fixing straps to the cloth in sturdy condition. The actual size of the body without taking the spout into consideration is around 5 x 6 x 3. So even without me being able to put my finger on use, other than carrying water, im inclinded to suggest its an interesting piece!
