German Traditional Knit Cardigan Sweater (BDM) (Medium/Large)

Vintage German traditional knit sweater. Also worn by BDM girls.MEASUREMENTS (approximate):Bust- 36'-40'Waist- 30'-34'Length- 16'Sleeve(shoulder seam to end of cuff) - 20 1/2'Nice black wool knit sweater with dark green and red trim. Metal buttons. Green ties at the collar and at the waist. The waist is tailored in to give it a flattering look. Super cute sweater that gained popularity in the 1930s and was made for many decades after. It was popular with the BDM (Bund Deutscher Mädel - League of German Girls) as well and was an approved garment for certain regions. This particular one seems like it may be post war made.Good condition. There are just a few pulls in the material.
