Description

You are bidding on a BEAUTIFUL example of a WW2 Imperial Japanese Army Hand Crank Dynamo Flashlight! Used by various personnel and tank crew members, it comes complete with the original canvas case, both carrying straps and all accessories! This type of hand-cranked dynamo flashlight was issued for military use where batteries were impractical or unavailable. These lights were commonly used in dark and confined environments such as armored vehicles, aircraft, and field positions, and many examples were equipped with a rotating color filter wheel for signaling and controlled light output. Hand-crank operation allowed continuous use without reliance on external power sources.Made of aluminum and steel, this tank crewman / personnel flash light is in near-perfect mint condition and is FULLY FUNCTIONAL! The canvas case features no loose stitching or damage..and both original straps are present, including the main shoulder strap and the belt strap. The flashlight has been tested and functions 100% correctly. The hand crank operates PERFECTLY, alongside the on/off switch located at the side. The rotating color wheel is present and intact, showing red, green, and blue filters. The set also includes original accessories, including two spare bulbs; a screwdriver; and what appears to be original lubrication oil. Overall this is an EXCELLENT and COMPLETE example that is very difficult to find in this level of condition. Wouldmake a FANTASTIC addition to any collection or display!
