THIRD REICH FIRE DEPT BAYONET KNOT.

Whilst this is a fairly common sidearm, the coloured portapee/knot that goes with it is quite rare.This seems to have been tied to a bayonet and removed. In very nice condition, it has all aged to a nice patina. Black leather strap with triple silver wires. These have become a 'golden' colour with age. Leather very supple. The bullion acorn ball has the usual alternation red/silver threads, which have also gained some age patina. The bottom of the acorn has a bright pink/red stuffing. Complete your fire bayonet with the correct original knot.
