Japanese WWII Large Hinomaru 'Meatball' National Flag-This is a scarce find in this larger size. This flag is in near excellent condition. This larger flag is produced in an off-white soft bunting with a bright red printed sun or 'meatball', producing a mirror image on the reverse. There are a few spots of discoloration and slight staining. The hoist ends corners have small ties and brown vinyl reinforcements. The brown vinyl is flaking from age and is quite delicate. The flag measures 36 inches (91.44cm) wide by 54 inches wide (137.16cm). This flag is in near excellent condition and would make a terrific display item.
