German WWII Navy Jack Flag-This is a very good example of a top quality flag, made by the Plüschweberei Grefrath flag company. It is marked with this company name, and is also marked with Gösch and the size 80x135 for the size in cm. This translates to 36 inches wide, by 54 inches long. The Gösch translates to Naval, and the company Plüschweberei Grefrath is known for making naval flags. This very well could be what is called a Navy jack, and is the correct size for a U-boat. The interesting thing is that it is not naval proofed. This flag has some age discoloration to the reinforcement but is overall very clean. There is a nice rope lanyard strung through the reinforcement. This braided rope is looped at each end for hanging. A very cool flag overall.
