WW2 Royal Corps of Signals suspension side cap sweetheart brooch

A scarce original Second World War period 'Royal Corps of Signals gilt and enamel sweetheart badge', suspended from a perfectly formed army side cap; the reverse with maker's details 'SS Ltd' in a shield and impressed with 'Regd.No 837997' a manufacturers registered, design and patent date of 1939. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.Height approx 44mm.
