Soviet WWII Era Navy Officers Full Dress Tunic, Lt.Commander, Aviation Maintenance

Original period manufacture. Handsome, double breasted tunic in black wool with gilded metal anchor embellishments on the collar and cuffs. Introduced in 1943 this pattern tunic saw extensive wear after 1945 and the victory over Germany. Czarist style, lace on, gold brocade shoulder boards with a black wool underlay, four small stars on each with a brass emblem with an enameled red star. The shoulder board buttons are silver in color which do not match the other buttons on the tunic which are brass.  No moth issues to report, the tunic is about a size 40R.
