WWII First Model Luftwaffe Officer Dagger

The blade of the dagger shows spots and typical runner marks. The blade is unmarked by a maker. The blue leather washer remains in place at the top of the blade. The leather grip exhibits some minor scuffs, with the grip remaining tightly triple wrapped with wire. The guard and the pommel show spots and an uncleaned patina. The sun wheel swastikas on both sides of the guard and the pommel similarly exhibit patina over the gilt finish of the swastikas. All of the scabbard fittings as well as the suspension chain display an uncleaned patina. The blue leather covering of the scabbard shows some scuffs and abrasions. There is no chain hanger.
