1940 Dated Double Marked Hitler Youth Dagger by Richard Abr. Herder, M7/18

The blade shows spots, scratches, and surface grime. The blade bears the name of the firm of Richard Abr. Herder of Solingen, together with the firm's RZM code of M7/18, together with the date of 1940. The leather washer is in place at the top of the glade. The guard and the pommel both exhibit wear to the plated finish. The black Bakelite grip plates are without chips or cracks. The enamel Hitler Youth diamond is set firmly into the grip and it is also without chips, while showing age and scratches. The scabbard is without paint. The leather belt hanger is worn but it is complete and intact.
