Chinese Nationalist Army Officers Sword

Original era manufacture. Interesting sword, very similar in design to a Japanese army dress sword but of lesser quality. Polished steel 29 inch blade with a blood groove on each side. Rather crude brass guard and pommel with an imitation turtle shell covered grip with simple brass wire binding. The grip is missing a small portion of its covering near the pommel. Simple sheet steel scabbard without a carrying ring. Not a great looking sword but would imagine fairly scarce.
