Description
From my personal collection: Beautiful, nearly unworn M38 pattern paratrooper steel helmet. Original green coating is present. The decal is present and shows sharp details. The helmet is complete with an all original liner. The leather is supple and strong, complete with its rubber paddings. The stampings remain cleary visible; 'Baumuster: Heister, Berlin C2′ Hersteller: F.W. Müller'. Size marked; Kopfweite: Gr.55, Stahlhelm-Gr.. 66. The chin straps are full length and complete with all press buttons.The aluminum bolts on this helmet are post-war examples and added to complete the helmet. The shell is marked on the side by ET, size 66 and has the lot number 45058. Stunning and hard to find helmet.
