WW2 2nd type Civil M.B.E, WW1 Pair with M.I.D Oakleaves, WW2 Defence medal, 1935 Silver Jubilee Medal & 1937 Coronation medalTo- MAJOR.V.S.GRAYVivan Seaton Gray was commissioned in to the A.S.C in WW1 & was M.I.D for services in Mesopotamia 23-8-1918. Post WW1 he served as clerk to Whitby urban district council at both Staithes & Ruswarp & in that capacity was awarded both the 1935 silver jubilee medal & the 1937 coronation medal. During WW2 he served as the area controller for Whitby A.R.P & for these services he was awarded the Civil M.B.E in the London gazette 9-1-1946.NEF & Complete with extensive research details that include MIC & medal roll details. Along with London gazette details for all awards
