Australian Pre-Federation QLD Government 1856 Pattern Socket Bayonet

A really good and rare , well marked example of the 1856 Patton as issued to Australian colonial forces. The blade in relatively good clean condition, working socket ring, the ricasso stamped with proof marks. The top of the socket marked 'Q G' with broad arrow. Comes with matching leather scabbard fitted with brass fittings and stamped 'QG 996'. Bayonet fits well to the scabbard.
