German WWII Wehrmacht Combat Field Belt-This is a very interesting combat belt. This is a brown leather belt that is still quite soft and supple. This belt is very well marked and dated 1939 on the tongue. The aluminum catch is also maker marked L&F. This belt has had 6 additional small holes added to the bottom edge. These are quite uniform and were definitely added later. We are uncertain what these are for, possibly for hanging extra equipment. This belt measures 39 inches (99.06cm) in length, so will fit up to a size 36 inch waist. An interesting belt in good shape.
