German WWII Luftwaffe Enlisted Man's Buckle w/Tab-This is a blue painted steel example that retains the majority of the original Luftwaffe blue finish. What is missing is on the highest details and the sides (corners) of the buckle itself. The pebbled field has good details. The feathers on the eagle's chest show more detail loss. The same holds true for the high points of the wreath. The leather tab is marked, although it has faded, and the most readable part is the word Lüdenscheid. Overall, this is a nice Luftwaffe example.
