German Early Imperial Army WWI Belt Buckle-This is a handsome offering. This early WWI army combat buckle is the 1895 pattern. It is made of steel. It retains the majority of its original olive green finish, though there is some rusting bleeding through the finish on the reverse. The same is true for the legs of the catch, as well as the rollbar, so please be sure to see photos. The details to the crown, and the motto 'PROVIDENTIAE MEMOR' are very strong. The motto translates to 'Remember Providence'. Overall, this early buckle is in good condition.
