Large German alloy railroad 'Reichsbahn' eagle by HE '27 inch'

Excellent and very desirable Third Reich Railroad (Reichsbahn) locomotive eagle in alloy. 27 inch (69cm) example in good condition, still shows sharp details. This eagle is also made by HE (written on the back). Helmet taken from a railway wagon by an American soldier as souvenir. He damaged the wing while tearing it off and the stud remained in the wagon leaving a small hole – true 'bring-back souvenir hunting' patina! A beautiful example, would look great in any collection room!
