RARE mint M42 Army – Waffen-SS no decal steel helmet by Quist Q64

Stunning, close-to-mint, M42 no decal steel helmet in excellent condition. Untouched helmet, retaining its late war grey coating for nearly 100% on the exterior. Liner is original to the helmet and split pins remain unmessed with. The leather is complete with its full lenght draw string ans shows a 57 size mark. The rarest thing here is ofcourse the manufacturer, being Quist. They made M40 helmets untill late 1944 and only had a small production of M42's at the end of the war in 1944 and 1945. Therefor these M42's are very desirable amongst advanced helmet collectors today. Maker marked in the rear by Q64. Lot number DN541.
