Hitler Youth Dagger RZM M7/8 (Eduard Gembruch)

The blade of the dagger shows spots, stains, and a few barely perceptible nicks to the edge. The blade bears the RZM code of M7/8, reflecting production by the firm of Eduard Gembruch. The leather washer remains in place at the top of the blade. The black Bakelite grip plates are without damage. The enamel Hitler Youth diamond set into the grip is without chips or cracks, while showing scratches, surface dirt and verdigris. Both the guard and the pommel exhibit wear to the finish, particularly on the areas of the pommel covered bby the leather dagger retention strap. The scabbard paint shows some scratches and minor wear. The leather belt loop is complete and intact.
