Certified Midwife 1921 qualification badge

A scarce original early pattern issue without the 'State' in the title, silver plated example depicting the symbolic figure of 'Juno Lucina' Roman goddess of childbirth within a blue enamel title surround 'Certified Midwife', the reverse with maker's details 'Thomas Fattorini Hockley St. Birmingham' and inscribed 'D.I. CRAIG S2960 8.2.21.'. Very good condition, complete with original suspension ring, no damage to the enamel, neck cord now absent.Height with ring approx 55mm.
