WWII German Model 1942 Helmet Reissued to Norwegian Troops

WWII German Model 1942 Helmet Reissued to Norwegian Troops-This is a Model 1942 German helmet that was refinished in green and had 'doubled' decals added to each side for use by Norwegian troops. The green reissue finish remains mostly intact. Inside is a redyed liner and a light brown leather chinstrap. There is a reinforced aluminum liner band (original German) that is maker marked, dated 1939 and size stamped 62/55. The rear skirt appears to be stamped EF 66 indicating production by Emaillerwerke of Fulda in the size of 66. It is stamped with the lot number 3304. Very interesting!
