Third Reich Model 1940 Police Double Decal Combat Helmet-This 'as found' example has a dark field gray textured combat finish that remains mostly intact. The left side has a bordered, lightly toned police decal that is 70% intact. The right side has a party shield that is 70% intact as well. The liner is rough, with lots of discoloration and the drawstring has torn from all but three of the liner tongues. There is a zinc liner band. The rear skirt is stamped Q 64 indicating production by Quist in the size of 64. The rear skirt is also stamped with a lot number that is hard to read but starts with the letter 'S'. Also included is a brown leather chinstrap that is worn and slightly shortened. An as found example priced to sell!
