WWII German Luftwaffe Model 1942 Single Decal Combat Helmet-This as found example features a blue gray combat finish that remains 75% intact with a few small dings. The Luftwaffe decal is toned and checks in at 75% as well. The liner is very worn with missing material. What is left is tattered and very stiff. There is a zinc liner band. The rear skirt is stamped NS 66 indicating production by Nickelwerke of Schwerte in the size of 66. The rear skirt is also stamped with the lot number D327. There is a partial brown leather chinstrap as well. A good starter piece by a scarcer maker!
