European Early 19th Century Infantry Hanger, 1827 Dated

Original period manufacture. Polished steel blade which measures 23 inches in length, 1827 date on the obverse ricasso. Simple brass guard and grip with a crown W proof on the guard, nice brass patina overall. Very sound leather bodied scabbard with a brass throat and tip. Old solder repair to the tip seam. Sound old sword.
