World War 2 - U.S. Graton & Knight M1916 Modified Pistol Holster

Genuine U.S. World War 2 brown leather M1916 holster for the .45 Colt M1911 pistol. This example was made by G & K (Graton & Knight Manufacturing Company of Massachusetts) its dated 1943, on the back is embossed 'U.S. Graton & Knight Co 1943', it's in very good condition with nice soft well aged leather, it's been deliberately modified by removing the front flap and replacing that with a piece of leather that attaches nicely to the ball catch, presumably for a quicker release, the double hook hanger has also been removed making this holster belt use only. Stitching is in great shape, no rips holes ect.
