German Female Signal Auxiliaries Armbadge

German Female Signal Auxiliaries (Nachrichtenhelferin des Heeres) Armbadge. The Female Signals Auxiliary Corps (Nachrichtenhelferinnen des Heeres) were organized in a military system and were tasked with all aspects of communications within the occupied countries and in certain military communications centers within Germany that required special security that was unsuitable for civilian personnel. Personnel serving with the Female Signals Auxiliary Corps were outfitted with uniforms and insignia, including the arm-badges showing a yellow lightning blitz. The armbadge is woven in the so-called BeVo weave pattern in golden/yellow thread on a black background. Scarce original armbadge in clearly used and tunic removed condition!
