German WWII Rare Luftwaffe Guide Instructor for Future HJ Pilots-This is an uber rare cap! In outstanding condition. We have never encountered a cap like this. This is made of the field blue wool tricot with a silver piping. The black centerband is excellent. The cap has an excellent shape, and the tricot wool body is excellent. The cap features a M1936 pattern army eagle w/swastika that retains the majority of its silver finish. Below this on the centerband is a Hitler Youth enameled diamond that is also nice and clear, with great colors to the enamel. This is near excellent. The tan ersatz sweatband is in very good condition. It shows only the slightest wear. It is embossed with the mark, DL for Deutsches Leder. The inside of the cap is lined in a golden brown rayon that matches the color of the sweatband. This has a rhomboid shaped moisture shield. There is a paper tag inside, but this is blank. The size 57 is stamped on the moisture shield. There is an RZM tag in place under the sweatband. This cap is a true gem, a rare find in excellent condition. This really is a special, museum quality offering!
