German WWII Municipal Police Officer Tschako by Erel-This is an excellent example of a police tshako. This would be worn by a municipal police officer. It has a green felt body with a black leather trim. The exterior is in near excellent condition, with a terrific looking nap on the green wool. There are two slight scratches on the top fiber cap, so please be sure to see photos. These are very slight and are not a distraction, they are visible only if you catch the light right. This cap has a very good shape and each component, meaning the aluminum officer's scalechinstrap, the large shiny correct officer's aluminum eagle are in excellent shape. The bullion cockade is boldly in place on this piece. The size 56 liner is soft, light brown leather with gold rayon. Inside, on the crown of the cap, underneath the rayon, you can see the full eReL decal is still present. The light brown leather sweatband is in place and excellent. This is a near excellent example by a very popular headgear maker. A beauty.
