LA9 Luftwaffe M35 single decal overpaint camouflage helmet

Luftwaffe M35 single decal overpaint camouflage helmet, the factory finish was overpainted in a blue grey colored rough texture finish externally and to the inner skirt by hand, care was taken to paint around the eagle decal, the national colors decal appears to have been removed before the painting was done, size 64 shell though the overpaint obscures maker and lot number, there are scratches and gouges to the finish and a slight ding to the top right upper dome, the pins still have most of their paint, with '38 dated reinforced liner bands, the leather liner is stained from wear but damage free and still has its original liner string, the full length brown leather chinstrap is maker marked and dated 1938, the helmet has not been cleaned and there is considerable dust buildup inside, nice and completely in its original state, USD $1350
