Description
Heer assault gun trousers in gabardine material, of standard production issue and having the same features as their counterparts produced in wool, constructed of field grey colored gabardine fabric with the reverse having the coarse textured finish, trousers have a built in grey colored waist tightening belt having the HBT weave, it is fastened with a black painted three pronged steel buckle and a separate grey colored vertical securing tape, there is s small watch pocket and two angled hip pockets and two rear pockets, each with a scalloped pocket flap and closed with horn buttons, the legs are large and roomy being gathered at the ankles with a pair of white colored tapes and a horn button, the inner ankles are lined with black flat cotton fabric which is also used at the fly facing, the inner waistband is made of olive colored twill, the other vertical fly facing and pocket bags are made of ribbed cotton having the same olive color but the fabric is softer, with the exception of two large grey colored glass buttons at the waistband, the fly is closed with horn buttons, the former owner sewed six steel buttons to the inner waistband to wear the trousers with braces, the inner waistband is stamped in black ink with size markings, M44 and RBNr, there is an overall patina from service wear and a couple of small stains but no actual damage to the fabric, seldom encountered, USD $3500
