Institute of Almoners hospital union named badge

A good original circa 1946 period 'Institute of Almoners silver plated badge' in form of a shield inlaid with blue enamel and bearing a two barred cross in white, the reverse inscribed 'C.KING 1946' Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no defect to the enamel.Height approx 30mm.In 1945 the 'Hospital Almoners' Association' and the 'Institute of Hospital Almoners' amalgamated to form the 'Institute of Almoners'.
