WWII German Army Model 1936 Tunic and Trousers for Artillery Captain

WWII German Army Model 1936 Tunic and Trousers for Artillery Captain-This is an excellent private purchase set with medals as shown included. It is an early model 1936 with pleated breast pockets and hidden hip pockets, each with scalloped flaps. The tunic is produced in a very soft, high quality field gray wool that is in excellent condition with extremely minor wear only. There is an eight button (early) closure and all buttons are silver finished pebbled metal. There is a dark green badge cloth collar and French cuffs. The officer collar tabs are dark green badge cloth with silver bullion columns and red litzen. The sew in shoulder boards are red badge cloth with matte silver flat wire face. There are two gilt finished metal pips and a #3 cipher for a captain in the 3rdArtillery Regiment. The breast eagle is silver bullion with silver flat wire over a pale field gray wool. It is original but it has been reapplied to this tunic. There are ribbons for both the EKII and the Russian Front medals. There are loops for two badges plus a medium ribbon bar. INCLUDED are the EKI, the General Assault badge and the medium ribbon bar. The interior is fully lined in green rayon that is in great condition. There is a waist belt with a plated buckle. There is a strap with plated metal snap hook for an edged weapon. There is a pocket on the left side plus a vertical pocket on the right side of the tail. This is a size large. The trousers are mouse gray wool with red stripes down each leg. Aside from some extremely minor wear, they are in excellent condition. There are slash type hip pockets, a pair of rear pockets and a watch fob pocket. There are cinch strap and straps/buttons for suspenders etc. There is a four button fly with an additional buttoned strap at the waist. These are of an extremely high quality. The waist is a size 31 and these measure 38' in overall length. A great set overall!Please note that any 'accessories' (i.e. medals, badges, belts etc.) are NOT included unless stated in description!
