Third Reich Gendarmerie Officer Tunic

Third Reich Gendarmerie Officer Tunic-This is a dress tunic for a 1stlieutenant in the rural police. It is excellent, produced in blue green wool that is super clean. There is an eight button closure and all buttons are silver finished pebbled metal. The collar and French cuffs are chocolate brown badge cloth. There is orange piping at the closure seam, at the top of the French cuffs, at the tail and at the front and lower edge of the collar. There are four pockets with scalloped flaps. The breast pockets are pleated. There are orange badge cloth collar tabs with bright silver bullion columns. There are sew in shoulder boards with an orange badge cloth underside and a secondary underlay of brown badge cloth. The face is silver flat wire and each has a single gold finished metal pip. This is for a first lieutenant equivalent, an oberleutnant. There is a silver bullion adjutant aiguillette and a ribbon for the War Merit Cross. There are loops for two badges on the left breast pocket plus another set of loops above the pocket for a medium sized ribbon or medal bar. The left sleeve has a spectacular silver bullion sleeve eagle. The interior is fully lined in golden brown cloth that is excellent. There is a pocket on the left side plus a vertical pocket in the tail on the right. There is a collar liner. This is a size large.
